Class Descriptions

Brand New Beginners Course- Our most popular series! For those who are intimidated or simply curious about Hot Yoga, we have developed a series of 8 classes that will take you from start to finish. This course starts with the very basics of breathing techniques, followed by standing series poses, and finally floor series poses. The focus is on building a solid foundation and understanding of the principles of body alignment, and modifications as needed. We start with very low heat and slowly increase it as the course progresses. Once you complete this course you will be ready for our regular group classes. *Pre-registration is required!*

Hot Yoga (1 Hour)- This is our Beginner Friendly class. In this class you will learn the Hot Yoga Sequence: 25-30 stationary postures. One set of the postures are performed in a heated room. The focus in on building a solid foundation and understanding of the principles of body alignment, and modifications as needed. The perfect class to get acclimated to the heat and accustomed to the postures after the BNB. All levels welcome!

Hot Yoga (90 Min)- This is a heated, 90 min. class. Building on the foundation, you continue practicing the Hot Yoga Sequence; however, you perform two sets of each posture. All levels welcome, but Beginners may want to start with our BNB or Hot Yoga 1 hour class.

Vinyasa (1 hour)- “Flow Class”- This is a class of continuous movement where you transition, or flow, from posture to posture, synchronizing the breath with every movement. This class deepens the principles taught in the Hot Yoga Sequence. The class is 60 min. and is heated. Beginners are encouraged to start with the Hot Yoga Sequence before trying Vinyasa classes.

Vinyasa- This is a 90 minute class and is heated. You continue practicing the flow style, and new postures are introduced to challenge the body. The pace of the class is quicker and there is more emphasis on building upper body strength. A solid foundation and understanding of alignment is necessary to feel successful in this class.

Vinyasa Level II- This flow class will challenge your body and mind with a variation of lifts, binds, and inversions—truly taking your practice to a new level. Speak with an instructor before trying.

Sacred Music (Hot Yoga)- This is a heated, 90 min. class teaching the Hot Yoga Sequence. With candle light and music selected to evoke a deeper sense of feeling and grace, allowing for a more right-brain experience. It is taught in a follow-the-leader format with minimal instruction given. Should attend at least 10 Hot Yoga classes before trying.

Sacred Music (Vinyasa)- This is a heated, 90 min. Flow class. With candle light and music selected to evoke a deeper sense of feeling and grace, allowing for a more right-brain experience. It is taught in a follow-the-leader format with minimal instruction given. Should attend at least 10 Hot Yoga classes and 5 Vinyasa classes before trying.
